Pastured Poultry

Pastured poultry is a production system that employs raising chickens directly on pasture.  The model has been developed over the last twenty-five years and allows the birds to receive up to 30% of their feed intake from pasture.  The balance of their diet is a high quality grain mix.  Our chickens are raised free-range with shelters that are moved daily onto fresh grass.  The birds have lots of room to run while still having shelter from the sun and protection from the rain.  By rotating the ranges the birds have access to fresh grass at all times.  This gives our flocks a clean healthy environment to thrive in.

When we feed animals their original diet, we are feeding them food that is most in harmony with their digestive system.  This naturally produces healthier animals.  Meat and eggs from grass-fed animals supply our bodies with a natural source of Omega 3 fatty acids and Beta-Carotene.  Free range animals produce lean meat that is very dense, tender, juicy and has wonderful flavor.  We are proud to provide you with the safest, healthiest meat possible.

Our broilers are sold as whole chicken packaged in a 4 mil shrink bag for preserving freshness.  They are processed on the farm and are available un-frozen for pick-up after 2pm on processing days.  Average packaged weight is 4.0-4.5lbs/$2.85lb. Download the Order Form
